Renita C Burrell DDS, MS

Dr. Burrell was born and raised in Madison, WI. She knew at a very early age that dentistry was what she was meant to do in life. Dr. Burrell graduated Summa Cum Laude from Xavier University of Louisiana. From there she proceeded on to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and graduated with the plan of going into periodontics. Periodontics offered an opportunity to help people that may not realize there is a problem using a scientifically based method. Dr. Burrell received her Certificate in Periodontics and Masters in Dentistry from The Ohio State University Dental School before moving to the Milwaukee area to establish herself in private practice in 2007.

Here, in the Milwaukee area, Dr. Burrell is very active with the Wisconsin Dental Association and the Wisconsin Society of Periodontists. Also, while raising 3 young children, she is able to run a periodontal practice and work part-time at Marquette University School of Dentistry. Working with the dental students teaching them diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and setting an example of how everything in life is achievable, is very important to Dr. Burrell.

Dr. Burrell has a few hobbies outside of the dental field including reading Stephen King, doing logic puzzles, and staying physically active.
